~UAE charity donates meat to the poor~

Dubai: Ten tonnes of meat from animals sacrificed on Eid will be distributed around charity organisations and orphanages in Egypt, according to the directives of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Red Crescent Authority.

The meat will be also distributed at the Shaikh Zayed village in Saliheyah in the Eastern Governorate and the UAE farms in Nubariyah on way to Alexandria.

The UAE embassy in Damascus also cooperated with the Red Crescent Authority (RCA) to carry out the meat distributing programme to both the needy and the Palestinian and Iraqi refugee families.

RCA also put aside a special additional budget to continue distributing the meat to Palestinian refugees in Narab and Ain Al Tell refugee camps in Aleppo.

It will also distribute meat to Iraqi refugees in Syria.
