Suppliers' demand to increase prices turned down
ABU DHABI - The management of Al Dhafrah Cooperative Society has rejected the demand of the suppliers to increase the prices of foodstuff during Ramadan.
The society's board of directors, headed by Mohammed Sultan bin Garan Al Mansoury, also put in place controls to prevent the exploitation of consumers by retailers in the Western Region.
It also decided to provide special offers on Ramadan basket with prices to suit the low-income people's budgets.
