A typical job change problem in Dubai

I live with my family in Dubai, who are sponsored by me. I have resigned from my current job and is about to get a 6 month labour ban. This will also lead to cancellation of my and my family residence Visa. But I want to continue my wife and daugters visa, as my daughter is a school going kid, till I get a Residence visa from my new sponsor. Their visa is valid till Oct 08. Pls advise what is the procedure and fees for doing so.
